The DBF-4000 incorporates Split Beam technology capable of estimating fish size with a high degree of accuracy for a school or a set of echoes selectable on screen. The equipment can display a size histogram and the estimated number of fish in each range, so you can tell whether a school is a sustainable fishing target. A pie chart is also available showing the distribution of echoes under the transducer beam, which makes it possible to determine the direction in which the school is moving. 3D views complete a menu of graphic tools that help professional fishermen make decisions in real time.
